Jenna in Color

Today was going to be my day of rest. A full day of doing nothing to enjoy the last of the calm before the storm of exciting weddings this year. I slept in and thought about how nice it would be to lounge. Only, I have no idea how to do nothing. Really. I flipped through the new issue of Vogue and got super inspired by both the terrible and really good photography. It took all of 45 minutes of being awake before I called my good friend Jenna and asked what she was up to for the day and then asked how she’d feel about coming over, dressing up, and letting me drape her in tulle. Surprisingly,

she didn’t hang up.

You see, where I think of going places to look at mountains because they’re pretty,

Jenna thinks about climbing the mountain.

Where I’m most comfortable in an obnoxious dress,

Jenna is most comfortable in Patagonia.

Jenna isn’t someone who you imagine in tulle,

Which was all the more of a reason she had to be my model.

Also, this isn’t the first time I asked Jenna to do something crazy for the sake of art.

And once again, it’s paid off.

So,

Thank you Jenna

For being so amazing

And trusting me

Even when it involves a volcano of color.
