Girl on Film

While the truffles were refusing to set, Jenna and I retreated to the roof to soak in the rare San Francisco sun. I brought the Diana up with us and decided to go crazy and shoot away rather than the usual care and caution (saving frames for perfect moments) associated with film. I picked my the results up yesterday and while my first review was “oh, I like this one”, the set makes me feel both light and dark, personal but voyeuristic. Playing with the Diana is like high school science- it’s all a bit of an experiment that could be nothingness (like the 5 exposures that were blank) or strange unpredictable weirdness. Yay for film. Excited to drop off the next roll today.
